This song strikes me. My home church is closing in two weeks. I have received and invested in the lives that have passed through for the last 21 of its 106 years. I know that the work has borne fruit and will bear more fruit we cannot know. I believe God is not done with the individuals that make up our small church family. But, as we meet a few more times and disband, the loss is deep. The Church will continue, but it is hard to watch our church die. My prayer is: All that is broken be healed.

The Holy Spirit gave me a melody years ago to Psalm 13, when I was pouring out my heart to God. Since then he has given me many melodies over the years and it makes me love His word even more. Lately I have been singing in the Spirit more than ever and the Holy Spirit has been increasing my spiritual understanding of the power of praise and worship. I don’t come close to sounding as well as you, but I know I am singing unto the Lord Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual songs and it delights him. Thank you for sharing your heart and song to the world.
